HOORAY, IT ISN’T MY JOB!

It isn’t our job to plan the demise of satan or evil. Our job is to pray for God’s will to be done on earth. We see sin in the world and realize the enormity and scope of the destroyer’s work. We cannot, however, figure out the intricacies of satan’s maneuvers to undo God’s will and to destroy the work of God. Praise the Lord, satan’s moves are only temporary because he has been judged and sentenced. REV 20:10 And the devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

God has had it all planned out since before the creation of man and we can rest in His omnipotence, omnipresence and omniscience to handle evil and satan as we pray for deliverance. Christ’s Reign Foreseen REV 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded: and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” ISA 9:7-8 But the LORD shall endure forever; He has prepared His throne for judgment. He shall judge the world in righteousness, and He shall administer judgment for the peoples in uprightness.

We are called to be spiritually ready to carry out His plans and intercede for our loved ones, the lost, our nation and government, plus all the nations of the world. Most importantly, we are to have faith and trust that God is in charge of everything and He can and will answer our prayers. God has all the answers to every conflict of good and evil and He is working out His will for the good of all His children. PSA 9:13 Have mercy on me, O LORD! Consider my trouble from those who hate me, You who lift me up from the gates of death,  14  That I may tell of all Your praise In the gates of the daughter of Zion. I will rejoice in Your salvation.

God doesn’t want His children to worry because He guards and takes care of His own; even the shadow of death is not to be feared. Everything operates under His laws and direction. The Lord has told us to seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness and then He will take care of everything else in our lives.  MAT 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”Don’t worry, pray for His perfect will to be done in your life. That prayer check-mates satan’s moves.

We are to occupy ourselves with loving God and keeping His commandments (proving our love for Him) and continually seeking and doing His will for our lives. He plans and does what is best for us as we seek to know and keep His plans. We are not to “stress” over our problems; we are to “rest in the Lord.” PSA 9:3-4 When my enemies turn back, They shall fall and perish at Your presence. For You have maintained my right and my cause; You sat on the throne judging in righteousness.

We are to believe and trust in His keeping and His power to orchestrate all of His creation. He that notes the sparrow’s fall knows our every thought and step.  MAT 10:29-31 “Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.”

God is in charge of everything, even good and evil. ISA 45:7 I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity (EVIL); I, the LORD, do all these things. We must overcome and defeat evil by doing and bringing about good. God knows the end from the beginning and all He asks us to do is to have faith and trust in Him. Everything is in His hands, so why fret or fear?  Our job is to obey God and joyfully seek Him and pray, pray, pray.  We should always pray to know His will for our lives and ask Him to help us to faithfully carry it out. God will take care of the planning and road map for each of our lives.

Let our God operate His universe, all the nations and each individual. Every living soul is subject to God’s laws and every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord! Our commonality is that we all will stand before God and give an account of our words and deeds. PSA 103:15-19 As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes. For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, And its place remembers it no more. But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting On those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children, to such as keep His covenant, and to those who remember His commandments to do them. The LORD has established His throne in heaven, And His kingdom rules over all.

It is easy for the children of God to look at the world and say “sin” is winning the war.  Do not fret or worry, our God is in charge. Satan would love for us to believe he is victorious, while in reality his time is short. God is long-suffering and the cup of sin must be full before God sends wrath. We pray and then await God’s perfect timing. His work is always perfect, He is never late, and He makes no mistakes. ROM 9:22-23 What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory,

The story of our earthly lives begins and ends with our choices. JUD 1:5  But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. God has a destination awaiting us.  We choose to live in the presence of God eternally or in hell eternally. Our job is to choose our destiny and study God’s word so we know the rules. We are called to live the life of Christ before others and to bid them come to our Savior. We should not be willing that any should perish if we are to be like our Savior, Jesus Christ.

We reap what we sow. This law operates as precisely and surely as the sun rises and sets in God’s timing. If we sow to the flesh we will reap corruption. We must be careful what we sow. Every one of us is subject to the law of reaping whether we believe in God or not. It is universal! For that reason we will all be judged for every word and deed.HEB 9:27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.

God speaks to us through good and evil. When we experience “good” we know that it is a gift from God, and when we sow evil our God-given conscience tells us we have broken God’s law. There is, of course, a reprobate mind that comes from ignoring God’s laws and refusing to heed the Holy Spirit as it convicts of sin, righteousness, and the judgment to come. After we have done “all” to keep God’s commandments, then we are to stand in the love of God and in our love for others. ECC 12:13-14 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for these are the duties of man. For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether it is good or whether it is evil.

Remember this: God has everything under His control whether it is good or evil.  In God’s timing He will smite the enemy and do away with all sin and evil.  In the meantime we are to “rest” in God.  When we truly realize how much God loves us, we will not worry or fear. 2TI 4:18 And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him is glory forever and ever. Amen!
