MY FATHER KNOWS BEST!

Are you weary of trying to figure out where your life is going?  Perhaps you are at a crossroads and you aren’t getting direction from God. More difficult yet, do you find your life seemingly subject to a change that you are having difficulty handling or accepting? Perhaps you feel alone and you don’t know what to do with your life to make it meaningful. When you give your life totally to God through Jesus Christ, you become a part of the family of the Creator of the universe. Our heavenly Father certainly is an expert at making everything good and perfect. When your life is broken, He can fix it and make it new. DEU 32:4  He is the Rock, His work is perfect; for all His ways are justice, a God of truth and without injustice; righteous and upright is He.

God’s plan for your life has no flaws. Our Father has each our lives planned out to bring glory to Himself. All of God’s promises belong to His children.  His word never returns empty and He never lies or fails. To have the perfect beginning and ending to our lives, we must live according to his plans alone.  ACT 17:28  “For in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’”

His plans for us are far greater than our minds can even grasp. He is the master potter and can take a small, insignificant piece of clay and fashion it into a masterpiece when it remains in His hands. Without His handiwork, we are nothing. JOH 15:5  “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”

We must remain pliable in the master’s hands.  If we are not molded by Christ through the Holy Spirit, the clay will be marred in our own hands or the hands of satan. ISA 64:8  But now, O LORD, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our potter; and all we are the work of Your hand. We choose whether to be a life of beauty molded by God, or a broken and marred vessel unfit for the master’s use.

God promises to direct our way to the paths of righteousness and holiness. When we fully trust Him we do not depend on our own direction, understanding, or desires, but we have faith in his stated promise to direct our paths. We choose His “ways” above our own. PRO 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

How do we receive divine protection from satan’s destructions and robberies? We make sure that we are dwelling under the shadow of the almighty at all times. When we step out of His shadow (by making wrong choices), satan can come in and mar or destroy God’s vessels. JOH 10:10  “The thief (SATAN) does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I (JESUS) have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” The children of God have complete safety when we dwell and abide in God’s shadow. PSA 91:1  He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

In this world we will have trials and testing to perfect us.  Christ learned obedience by the things He suffered.  Suffering also brings us patience, faith, and trust in God.  When we don’t understand the “why” of our circumstances, we can cry out to our Father and ask for His help.  When things do not immediately move, then we wait and trust in Him.  If we are abiding in Christ and fully trusting, all the devils in hell cannot block God’s perfect will from being done. I have proved this statement over and over in my own life. Many times I have had to await God’s perfect work in me to finish, but I have never waited in vain for God to intervene. When we wait and trust in the Lord to carry out His perfect will in us, His blessings are even greater and His work in us more glorious. JOB 42:10  And the LORD restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. PSA 37:9  For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the LORD, They shall inherit the earth.

When we live in that “secret place” where we desire God’s will above every desire or will of our own, we have God’s complete attention and care. He gives His angels charge over us to keep us in all of our ways. Dwelling and abiding totally in Him brings a “security” that nothing else in the whole world can bring. ROM 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. We know that everything will work together for our good if we love God with all our heart and live according to His purpose. We can afford to wait on Him for God knows what is best for us, what will increase our faith and make our lives better. It seems like every few years, life totally changes. Old age never lives up to what is advertised…….the golden years.  Aches, pains, hearing, seeing, all have changed from our youth. In every stage, we must overcome and adjust. Whatever stage you are in, God has the right answers. I’m so glad I believe the word of God when it tells us to be content in whatever situation we find ourselves. PHI 4:11  Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content.

As I prayed the other night, I rolled my present situation in life over onto God’s shoulders. When I released my concerns and burdens, I knew that everything would work together for my good. I have a deep “knowing and expectancy” that everything will be made beautiful and worthwhile. ECC 3:11  He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.

Looking back over my life of eighty-two years, I know that I have never been disappointed in God’s work in my life.  When His workmanship was finished on whatever project I gave to Him, it has always been greater than my expectations. ISA 58:11-12 The LORD will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. Those from among you shall build the old waste places; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, the Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.

There is nothing too hard for Him!  He wants to share His miracle-working power with us through our faith and trust in Him. You can never look at a half-finished work and see its full beauty and perfection. Do not be discouraged. DEU 1:21  ‘Look, the LORD your God has set the land before you; go up and possess it, as the LORD God of your fathers has spoken to you; do not fear or be discouraged.’

Don’t worry or fret, just rest and trust in Him. PRO 13:12  Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life. Faith will move your mountains into the sea. “Ask” and it shall be given unto you. Your heavenly Father knows what you need before you ask Him. He knows what is best for us! The Lord bless you,  Anita

My prayer, please join me!

Dearest Father, we come before You in the name of Your son, Jesus Christ. Hear our prayers as we intercede for those that are grieving and disappointed in life. As their hearts look up to You, wash them with the healing balm of Your spirit. We believe in You and know that You hear us, and will answer the needs of those that are hurting physically or spiritually. If they need wisdom, pour forth Your wisdom into their minds and spirits.  Bring them new hope and faith that You are going to mend their hearts and bring to them an abundant and blessed life.  Heal their souls and spirits! Put forgiveness within those that have been despitefully used.

Oh Lord, we bring to You those that are at the crossroads.  Even as we pray, pour forth Your hope and faith in them. Show them that You have something far better planned for them.  Give them patience and joy to await Your work in their lives.  Increase their faith to wait until they receive the bounty from Your hands.  Change their circumstances to match Your blessed will for them.

For those whose lives seem dull and without meaning, come Lord Jesus and minister Your fullness of joy to them. Make a way when there seems no path before them.  Fill their hearts full of expectancy and show them Your salvation for their situation.  Make all things new! Let them behold the beauty of the Lord, as You take their lives and their hearts and renew their faith according to Your ordained plans for them. We believe in Your goodness and mercy! We know You hear us, and will answer speedily.

God, You are the master potter. Take every life that is broken and torn up and give them faith for Your miracles in their lives. Forgive their trespasses and help them to forgive. Come to them in Your might and power and make Your breath of “new life and new hope” enter their beings as we pray together.

Renew our souls and spirits and help us to shower the world with Your love.  May our faith shine as a beacon in this darkened world.  Increase our power to walk in Your footsteps.  Help us to worship only You, for thine is the kingdom, power, and glory forever.  Amen.

From,

Anita
