PROFITABLE OR UNPROFITABLE?
LOOK AT YOUR LIFE CAREFULLY AND DECIDE WHETHER YOU ARE CHRIST-CENTERED OR SELF-CENTERED. YOUR ANSWER WILL DETERMINE WHETHER YOUR LIFE WILL BE PROFITABLE OR UNPROFITABLE TO MY KINGDOM. YOU CAN NAME MY NAME EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK AND GO TO CHURCH EVERY TIME THE DOOR IS OPEN, BUT YOU CAN ONLY REPRODUCE THE KIND OF LIFE-SEED WITHIN YOU (FLESH AND ITS WORKS OR SPIRITUAL AND GOD’S WORKS). “Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God” (1John 3:9). IT TAKES THE DEATH AND REBIRTH OF YOUR NATURE IN THE IMAGE OF CHRIST TO PRODUCE CHRIST-LIKENESS. IF YOU ARE SOLD OUT TO ME AND YOU HAVE PUT YOUR OLD LIFE TO DEATH, YOU ARE A NEW CREATION AND FREE TO GROW AND DEVELOP SPIRITUALLY. “But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life” (Romans 6:22).
MANY OF THOSE I LOVE, WHO NAME MY NAME, HAVE CHOSEN TO FULFILL THEIR OWN DESIRES AND DESIGN THEIR OWN LIVES. THE ONLY TIME SOME OF YOU CALL UPON ME IS WHEN YOU ARE IN TROUBLE. DAILY, YOU LIVE A “GOOD” LIFE BY THE WORLD’S STANDARDS, BUT NOT A GOD-DIRECTED, SPIRITUAL LIFE WHICH CAN ONLY BE PRODUCED BY MY SPIRIT. THERE IS A VAST DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HAVING THE FLESH AS YOUR SOURCE, OR JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR SOURCE OF LIFE.
A LIFE CAN ONLY BE TRULY “GOOD” WHEN IT IS CHRIST-LED AND PURIFIED BECAUSE ONLY GOD IS TRULY GOOD. WHEN YOU CHART YOUR OWN COURSE YOU BASE IT ON THE CULTURE AND VALUES OF THE FLESH. SPIRITUALITY CANNOT BE PRODUCED WITHOUT YOUR LIFE BEING IN CHRIST AND THE HOLY SPIRIT PRODUCING HOLINESS AND GODLINESS IN YOU. WITHOUT MY SPIRIT INDWELLING AND GUIDING, YOU WILL FULFILL CARNAL ASPIRATIONS INSTEAD OF MY SPIRITUAL GOALS FOR YOUR LIFE.“Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God” (Romans 8:7-8).
IF YOU HAVE BLOCKED ME FROM BEING ACTIVE IN YOUR LIFE HOW CAN YOU WONDER WHY YOU NEVER FEEL MY SPIRIT WORKING IN YOU? MANY OF YOU ONLY GIVE ME AUDIENCE WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS. I AM SPEAKING OF TWO VERY DIFFERENT MIND SETS; ONE WHICH IS TOTALLY SET ON SERVING GOD OR ANOTHER THAT IS SERVING SELF FIRST AND GOD LAST. A DOUBLE MINDED MAN IS UNSTABLE IN ALL OF HIS WAYS. YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO BRING FORTH A SPIRITUAL LIFE WORTHY OF MY KINGDOM WITHOUT CHRIST BEING FORMED WITHIN YOU. AN EFFECTIVE LIFE FOR MY USE REQUIRES TOTAL DEDICATION TO CHRIST’S WAY, TRUTH AND LIFE.
WITHOUT RECONCILIATION TO GOD AND THE HOLY SPIRIT’S RE-CREATION OF THE HEART AND SPIRIT, MAN IS UNPROFITABLE TO MY KINGDOM.. “As it is written: ‘There is none righteous, no, not one; there is none who understands; there is none who seeks after God. They have all gone out of the way; they have together become unprofitable; there is none who does good, no, not one.’” (Romans 3:10-12). “And the way of peace they have not known. There is no fear of God before their eyes” (Romans 3:17-18). MY TRUTH IS ONLY PROFITABLE WHEN IT IS MIXED WITH FAITH, GODLINESS, AND OBEDIENCE.
THERE IS A TOTAL REST TO THOSE THAT ABIDE IN ME. THOSE WHO ARE AT REST HAVE REALIZED THAT WITHOUT ME THEY CAN DO NOTHING. THEY WILLINGLY SURRENDER THEIR OWN CHOICES AND DESIRES FOR MINE. MY SPIRIT GUIDES THEM EACH STEP OF THE WAY. THEY ARE TESTED TO INCREASE THEIR FAITH AND TRUST IN MY DIVINE PROVISION FOR THEM. ALL OF MY CHILDREN WHO WALK BY FAITH AND SUBMIT TO MY WILL, WILL RECEIVE BLESSINGS IN THIS LIFE AND REWARDS IN ETERNITY. IN MY NAME I HAVE GIVEN MY CHILDREN POWER, AUTHORITY, AND DOMINION OVER SATAN AND HIS WORKS. I CAME TO DESTROY THE WORKS OF SATAN AND YOU HAVE BEEN CALLED TO DO MY WORKS, SPEAK MY WORDS, AND BE A LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS.
MY CHILDREN, YOU ARE GOING TO SEE CLEARLY THE BATTLE LINES DRAWN BETWEEN THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND THE KINGDOM OF SATAN. EVERY MAN ON THIS EARTH WILL HAVE TO CHOOSE THE RULER SHIP OF GOD OR THE CONTROL OF SATAN. “For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come” (1Timothy 4:8). “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63).
My Prayer:
Dear Lord, I know the time has come to make a firm decision as to who will rule my life. I want You as my Savior and Lord of my life. Teach me to totally yield to Your spirit. Show me how to become profitable to You and Your kingdom. Give me overcoming power over my weaknesses. Put within me a desire to increase my prayer life and help me to carry the burdens of those I see who need Your help. Fill my mind with Your word and help me to meditate upon it. May I live expectantly and await Your spirit’s leadings. Fill my life with Your presence so I can be a light and a blessing to those around me and in the world. “thy kingdom come, thy will be done in my life and in all the earth.” Amen.
