Dear friends,

On July 15th I received a phone call from my daughter-in-law and I could tell she was awestruck and somewhat troubled over a dream she had.  After hearing the dream, I asked permission to relate it to you.  I thought the spiritual dream was authentic and very timely. In Christ’s love, Anita.

Following is the dream as it was related to me:

Around 7:00 a.m., July 14, 2006, I awoke alarmed and began to replay the dream I just had. My attention was focused on the heavens. I was a spectator as the scene unfolded. As I watched, a book appeared in the sky, which I thought was the holy bible, but on closer examination, I realized it said, “Book of Lamentations” (which I recognized as a book in the Bible).

The clouds above me were billowy white and streaked with lightning; it was as though the heavens were saying, “look up.”  A huge crowd gathered around me and began to point heavenward toward the unusual movement in the sky. I watched as the clouds began to frame a person dressed in glistening white descending in majesty above the earth.  His arms were spread wide and the heavens reverberated as He spoke in a loud voice, “COME TO ME!”  I recognized him as Christ, the son of God, and my Savior.

The scene around me began to be filled with praise, worship, and weeping.  Some of the people were awash with fear as they realized that Christ had come in the clouds of heaven (as the word of God declares). Others were struck with horror because they had no explanation or understanding of what was taking place before their eyes.

When Christ spoke, people began to effortlessly and gracefully arise to meet Him in the air. I knew that those asleep in Christ as well as the living children of God had arisen. The whole sky was filled with the saints of God and their worship. I watched them arise until the scene before me disappeared.

As I watched, the sky became turbulent again.  It was an exact enactment of what I had just witnessed.  Everyone around me began to point and say “he is returning again.”  This time I recognized that satan was the one coming.  He was mimicking the Lord in his every move and he said to those remaining on the scene, “come to me my children.” Some arose to satan and others remained on earth.

I immediately began to reach and try to protect the person standing next to me (I thought it was my daughter).  The horror of being left behind momentarily occurred to me, but after I was awake, I realized that I was standing “outside of the box” and was an onlooker.  I rejoiced with the children of God, but sorrow filled me as I realized some had believed the lie of satan. Others were grieving over not being ready for Christ’s return. I awakened immediately and was stirred over what I had seen.

Scriptures that deal with this event:

1Thessalonians 4:16  For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.  17  After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.  18  Therefore encourage each other with these words.

Luke 21:8  He replied: “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them. 2Corinthians 11:14  And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.
