NOTE: THIS MORNING AS I WAS PRAYING AND STUDYING, THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD BEGAN TO GIVE ME THE TITLE, THOUGHTS, AND SCRIPTURES FOR THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE.
(DIVISIVENESS DEFINED: DISSENTION AND DISCORD. SECTARIANISM DEFINED: NARROW MINDED DEVOTION TO PARTICULAR VIEWPOINTS, SECT, OR RELIGION.)
“I HAVE NO PLEASURE IN DIVISIVENESS OR SECTARIANISM. MANY OF YOU ARE BOUND IN YOUR PREJUDICES AND ARE CAUSING SEPARATION IN MY KINGDOM. HOW CAN I SEND YOU FORTH TO BATTLE FOR ‘MY KINGDOM TO COME AND MY WILL TO BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN’ WHEN YOU ARE BUSY DIVIDING AND ISOLATING YOUR LOVED ONES AND YOUR BRETHREN. 1Corinthians 3:3 You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere men? 1Corinthians 11:18 In the first place, I hear that when you come together as a church, there are divisions among you, and to some extent I believe it. THIS APPLIES TO YOUR HOMES AND FAMILY LIFE AS WELL. I CANNOT BE GLORIFIED WHEN THERE IS ‘SIN AT WORK.'”
“SATAN SOWS SEEDS OF DISCORD, ANIMOSITY, EVIL REPORT, JEALOUSY, ANGER, ILL WILL, UNFORGIVENESS, AND EVERY OTHER EVIL WORK. IF YOU CHOOSE TO LET THOSE THINGS TAKE ROOT IN YOUR HEART THEY WILL BRING FORTH A HARVEST OF SIN. OFTEN WHEN YOU PRAY, I AM BLOCKED FROM ANSWERING YOUR PRAYER BECAUSE YOU HAVE COMMITTED SIN IN YOUR HEART AGAINST THE PERSON OR CIRCUMSTANCES YOU ARE PRAYING ABOUT. WHEN YOU PRAY, EXAMINE YOUR HEART AND SEE IF YOU HAVE A “PLANK” IN YOUR OWN EYE. Luke 6:42 How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”
“ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT ANGER CANNOT WORK MY RIGHTEOUSNESS. EXAMINE YOURSELF TO SEE IF THERE IS ANGER AND RESENTMENT PRESENT AS YOU SPEAK. IT IS MUCH BETTER FOR YOU TO SEE AND SPEAK THROUGH THE EYES OF ‘LOVE’. 1Peter 4:8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. I WANT TO DEFINE THE KIND OF LOVE I WANT YOU TO HAVE. 1CORINTHIANS 13:1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 1CORINTHIANS 13:3 If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. LOVE IS THE FRUIT OF MY SPIRIT. 1CORINTHIANS 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails. GOD IS LOVE AND AS MY CHILDREN YOU ARE TO LOVE OTHERS AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF.”
“I CREATED THE FAMILY TO HAVE FELLOWSHIP WITH IT. MY PRESENCE ONLY CAN BE THERE AND SEEN THROUGH YOU WHEN THERE IS LOVE, JOY, PEACE, LONGSUFFERING, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS, AND SELF CONTROL. WHERE THERE IS ‘MUCH’ FRUIT THERE ARE ‘GREAT BLESSINGS’. DON’T BE A PART OF DESTROYING THE HARMONY AND LOVE THAT MY WILL ORDAINS FOR YOUR FAMILY, YOUR NEIGHBOR, AND THE BODY OF CHRIST. IF YOU HAVE TO BE ‘RIGHT’ AT THE EXPENSE OF HARMONY, YOU HAVE BECOME A ‘LOSER’ AND A ‘PART OF THE PROBLEM’ THAT I MUST DEAL WITH. THE EYES OF ‘LOVE’ WILL SEE AND KNOW THAT GOD IS THE ANSWER TO THE PROBLEM. HIS JUDGMENT IS JUST AND HIS LOVE UNSWERVING. Psalms 51:4 (DAVID SPEAKING TO GOD) Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you are proved right when you speak and justified when you judge. MY CHILDREN: JOHN 7:24 Stop judging by mere appearances, and make a right judgment.” 1CORINTHIANS 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men’s hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God. ”
“EVEN IF ONE OR MORE IN YOUR FAMILY ARE NOT WALKING IN MY SPIRIT, I WILL SANCTIFY YOUR FAMILY BECAUSE OF YOUR LIFE AND FAITH. DO AS I HAVE COMMANDED YOU, ‘LOVE, PRAY, BELIEVE AND BE OBEDIENT’ AND ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE FOR YOU. LET MY KINGDOM ON EARTH RULE IN YOUR HOME AND IN YOUR LIFE WHEREVER YOU GO. Proverbs 3:6 in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”
“DIVISIVENESS AND SECTARIANISM SEPARATE BRETHREN AND LOVED ONES. Galatians 5:6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. Galatians 5:14 The entire law is summed up in a single command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other. 16 So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. MY HANDS ARE TIED AND MY SPIRIT UNABLE TO HEAL AND SET THE CAPTIVE FREE WHERE THERE IS DISCORD. DO YOU REALIZE THAT SIN WILL BLOCK MY POWER. THIS COULD DELAY MY WORK BECAUSE I MUST FIRST DEAL WITH AND JUDGE THE SIN BEFORE MY MIRACLES CAN TAKE PLACE.”
“I SUFFERED AND GAVE MY LIFE FOR MY “BODY” AND YET MANY OF YOU THINK IT A LIGHT THING TO BRING QUARRELING AND DIVISION OVER NOTHING! Proverbs 17:9 He who covers over an offense promotes love, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends. Genesis 13:8 So Abram said to Lot, “Let’s not have any quarreling between you and me, or between your herdsmen and mine, for we are brothers Psalms 133:1 How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! 2 It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down upon the collar of his robes.”
“HOW CAN YOU FIGHT A GOOD FIGHT FOR ME WHEN YOU ARE ALREADY AT WAR WITHIN YOURSELF? James 4:2 You want something but don’t get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God. 3 When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. IT IS MY GOOD PLEASURE AND MY PERFECT WILL FOR YOU TO USE ALL OF YOUR ENERGY AND ALL OF YOUR SPIRIT ON SPIRITUAL PURSUITS. YOU CANNOT COME UP ‘HIGHER’ (LEAVE WORLDLINESS BEHIND) IF YOUR EYES ARE NOT ON ME AND YOUR HEART IS STILL IN THE WORLD AND ITS BATTLES. 1CORINTHIANS 9:26 Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. 27 No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.”
“WEEK AFTER WEEK I HAVE TOLD YOU THAT I AM RAISING UP MIGHTY WARRIORS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS WHO WILL GO FORTH IN THE POWER OF MY SPIRIT SPEAKING MY TRUTH FOR THIS GENERATION. MANY OF YOU ARE SO ENTANGLED IN ‘SPIDER WEBS’ (IMAGINARY WEBS) OF YOUR OWN MAKING THAT YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN THAT I CAME TO SET YOU FREE! OTHERS THAT YOU KNOW ARE IN GREAT BONDAGE AND YOU ARE TOO BUSY FIGHTING THE COBWEBS TO HELP SET THEM FREE. I SET YOU FREE TO BE MINE AND SHOW THE WORLD YOUR FREEDOM. MANY OF YOU ARE BOUND TO THE ‘SPIRIT OF THE WORLD’ INSTEAD OF THE ‘SPIRIT OF GOD’. 1John 2:15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For everything in the world – the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does – comes not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.”
“DO NOT BE DIVISIVE IN WORD OR DEED. DO NOT BE OVERLY AMBITIOUS, ARROGANT, OR PROUDLY SELF-RIGHTEOUS. Matthew 5:20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven. 21 “You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘Do not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ 22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, ‘Raca,’ is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell. YOU ARE SERVANTS OF THE MOST HIGH GOD; YOU ARE NOT YOUR OWN! LOVE OTHERS AS I HAVE LOVED YOU. LOVE MY APPEARING AND LOVE WITH A PURE HEART THOSE I HAVE GIVEN YOU TO LOVE FOR MY NAMESAKE. Proverbs 8: 13 To fear the LORD is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech. 14 Counsel and sound judgment are mine; I have understanding and power. 15 By me kings reign and rulers make laws that are just; 16 by me princes govern, and all nobles who rule on earth. PRO 8:17 I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me. 18 With me are riches and honor, enduring wealth and prosperity. 19 My fruit is better than fine gold; what I yield surpasses choice silver. 20 I walk in the way of righteousness, along the paths of justice, 21 bestowing wealth on those who love me and making their treasuries full.”
