November 6, 2004 – HOW TO BECOME A NEW CREATION IN GOD
PSALM 53:5 There they were, overwhelmed with dread, where there was nothing to dread. God scattered the bones of those who attacked you; you put them to shame, for God despised them.
MANY ARE THE THOUGHTS THAT TROUBLE YOUR MIND BECAUSE SATAN AND HIS MINIONS ARE ASSIGNED TO TAKE AWAY YOUR PEACE AND DESTROY YOUR FAITH. MY BELOVED, REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE! YOU ARE A CHILD OF THE “PRINCE OF PEACE” AND SO “ASK AND YOU WILL RECEIVE, SEEK AND YOU WILL FIND, KNOCK AND IT WILL BE OPENED TO YOU.” ~Prayer and the Golden Rule: MATTHEW 7:7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. MY CHILDREN, IT IS UP TO YOU TO ASK ME FOR WHAT YOU NEED TO OVERCOME THE TRIBULATIONS OF THIS LIFE AND TO BE VICTORIOUS. IT ISN’T THAT I DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU NEED, BUT BY YOUR “ASKING” AND TALKING TO ME OUR RELATIONSHIP BECOMES A MAJOR PART OF YOUR SPIRITUAL LIFE. IT ISN’T A RELATIONSHIP IF I DO ALL THE TALKING AND DOING. THERE MUST BE INTERACTION BETWEEN US FOR YOU TO TRULY KNOW ME.
MANY OF YOU SAY, “I DON’T WANT TO BOTHER GOD WITH MY PROBLEMS OR I’LL FIGURE IT OUT ON MY OWN.” WHEN YOU SAY THAT, YOU ARE ROBBING YOURSELF OF FELLOWSHIP WITH ME AND INDICATING THAT YOU ARE CONTROLLING YOUR OWN LIFE. JAMES 4:2 You want something but don’t get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God. YOU DO NOT HAVE BECAUSE YOU ASK ME NOT!
MANY OF YOU ARE LIVING IN A WORLD OF YOUR OWN DEVISING; YOU ARE NOT DWELLING IN TRUTH. YOU BELIEVE THAT BY YOUR BEING GOOD ALL THE PROBLEMS OF THE WORLD WOULD BE SOLVED. YOU BELIEVE THAT “GOODNESS AND PEACE” ARE THE WAY TO ETERNAL HEAVEN. I WANT TO REFRESH YOUR MEMORY BECAUSE THAT TYPE OF RATIONALITY IS NOT FROM ME.
I WOULD NOT HAVE SENT MY SON TO DIE FOR THE SINS OF THE WORLD IF IT WERE POSSIBLE TO SAVE THEM ANY OTHER WAY. SATAN IS VERY REAL. HEAR THE SCRIPTURE THAT DESCRIBES HIS WORK AND BELIEVE. JOHN 10:10 The thief (SATAN) comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. 1PETER 5:8 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. IT IS ONLY THROUGH THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST APPLIED TO YOUR LIFE THAT YOU WILL BE SAVED FROM SATAN AND ETERNAL DESTRUCTION. (When you pray and invite God into your life, He applies His seal of ownership on your life. ) JOHN 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. JOHN 11:25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; ACTS 4:11 He is “‘the stone (CHRIST) you builders rejected, which has become the capstone.’ 12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” EPHESIANS 1:13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession – to the praise of his glory.
ROMANS 8:9 You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. IF THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST DOES NOT INDWELL YOU THROUGH YOUR INVITATION, THEN YOU CANNOT BE LED OF GOD AND PROTECTED BY HIM AND YOU ARE LIVING IN YOUR FLESH AND ARE NOT LIVING THROUGH THE SPIRIT OF GOD. ~Made Alive in Christ EPHESIANS 2:1 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath.
THE ONLY WAY TO LIFE AND COMMUNION WITH GOD IS BY REBIRTH. FLESH AND BLOOD CANNOT ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD, YOU MUST BE BORN OF THE WATER (Washing of our sins through repentance) AND THE SPIRIT (given by God to the Believer). JOHN 3:3 In reply Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.” 4 “How can a man be born when he is old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb to be born!” 5 Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. REVELATION 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.
To become a new creation in God and to belong to God’s family, pray this prayer in faith believing:
DEAR LORD,
I hear Your voice within me calling me to repentance. Lord, forgive my sins and I ask you to come in and take over my life. I want to be Your child and to live victoriously through Christ. You will be my Lord, and I will be your faithful servant from this day forward. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Teach me and exhort me that I may know You in Your fullness. I love you. Amen.
You have now entered into a new life and relationship with God. 2CORINTHIANS 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! EPHESIANS 2:4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions – it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do
You are now an over-comer in life through Christ’s love and protection. Seek the destiny he has for you. 1JOHN 4:4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
Note: Seek God and read the Bible daily for your spiritual nourishment (begin in the Gospel of John and then read the entire New Testament). Mark the scriptures that touch your heart. Try to read the entire Bible in one year. JOHN 14:21 Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.”
There are advantages in every way when you become a child of God. TITUS 3:4 But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
2CORINTHIANS 5:15 And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. 2CORINTHIANS 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
GALATIANS 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
~God Is Love 1JOHN 4:7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
~The LORD, the Psalmist’s Shepherd. PSALM 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. 4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. PSALM 23:6 Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
